Our community memorial service is open to the public and provides those in attendance an evening of reflection and remembrance.

The 2022 Hospice Care of Middletown’s “A Season to Remember” Candle Ornament is a lovely way to remember a loved one this holiday season.
"Healing a Heart"
Hospice Care of Middletown is proud to sponsor this
6-week grief support group to our community.
There is no charge and hospice affiliation is not required.
“Healing a Heart” support group focuses on peer support, grief education and the development of coping skills.
The groups will meet once a week beginning on Thursday, March 3rd through April 7th.
The afternoon group meets Thursdays from 1:00-2:30 p.m.
The evening group meets Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Pre-registration is required to attend.

Participant parking across the street at Rosa Parks Elementary School and Barnitz Stadium. -
Flat course on paved trails through beautiful historic cemetery and arboretum. Chip timed 5K for runners and race walkers.
Shorter course loops available for recreational walkers (without chip timing). -
Pre-Registration $15.00 by April 20th (for shirt)
Race Day registration $20.00.
No registration fee for children 5 and under.
Goody bags to first 150 registered.
Check-in and race day registration begin at 7:30 AM. -
$12.00 for cotton or performance t-shirt.
Race Day registration t-shirts will be available while supplies last. -
Friday, May 6th from 10a-4p and
Saturday, May 7th from 9a-12noon.

12 and under, 13-19, then 5 yr. intervals through 75-79, then 80+WALKERS: Top 3 male and female and top M/F in each age group;

Snacks, drinks and lots of door prizes (must be present to win).

It has been an honor to continue the tradition of offering our friends, families and community a meaningful and lovely way to remember their loved ones during the holidays.
Due to the overwhelming demand for our 2021 Cardinal Ornaments we are unable to take new orders for this season.
If you would like to have your loved one’s name added to the Community Memorial trees at Central Connections and Woodside Cemetery Community Room in Middletown, Please call the HCOM office 513-424-2273 by December 15th, (Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 5:00)

Strollers are permitted. Timed 5K event for race runners and walkers. Chip timing by Brunning Endurance Company. Shorter course loops available for recreational walkers (no chip timing). Runners and walkers can also participate virtually this year due to Covid-19. Race description and COVID Safety Plan available online registration.
