We Honor Veterans
The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) offers hospices support for veterans to address the unique needs of veterans in hospice care. We Honor Veterans is a prestigious program that focuses on respectful inquiry, compassionate listening and grateful acknowledgment. The goal of the program is simple – to care for and honor those who have served when they reach the end of life.
Hospice Care of Middletown continuously searches for ways to honor our veterans during their last days. Pinning ceremonies are performed with families, friends and the hospice staff participating.
